Krista Sylvester attained her Communications/Journalism degree in 2004 and has been pounding away at the keyboard ever since. She spent the early years of her career working as a reporter for Metro newspaper and City TV news covering everything from sports, arts and entertainment to crime, social issues and politics. Krista also gained valuable experience working for Fast Forward Weekly and the Calgary International Film Festival. Now spending most of her time freelancing, Krista writes for several local newspapers and magazines while teaming up with marketing firms as a copywriter. Many of Krista’s clients come to her for help with copy-related projects including articles, resumes, scripts, press releases, brochures, website copy, social media and marketing materials. In her free time, Krista can often be found at the local hockey rink, playing poker or hitting the road for a mini vacation.
